Driven by passion, energy and a desire to make a difference, entrepreneurs are often consumed by business, have difficulty interacting with the rest of society and often complain of being lonely. It is not an easy life but few who have the natural talent for it turn away because it is who they are. Entrepreneurs are a special class of people who generate economic value by creating new innovative businesses which bring new products or services to the marketplace. Whether they are creating a commercial entity or a not-for-profit, they set out to make a difference in what they do, whether that is solving an old problem in a better way, applying new knowledge or simply doing things better. The bottom line is that they make our lives better, contribute to national competitiveness, create new jobs and help build community value. But they are also one of the least understood sectors of our community. Duration: 34 minutes; 1 second
